Admission Requirements

Advanced Placement Program

Applicants who meet any of the following criteria, possess the Japanese language proficiency specified below at the time of admission, and are deemed to be in good physical and mental health with a strong desire to study.

  1. Individuals who have completed 12 years of schooling in their country of origin.
  2. Individuals who possess the qualifications to enter higher education institutions (universities, junior colleges, vocational schools) under the education system of their country of origin.

Preparatory Education Program for Higher Education

Applicants who have completed 10 or 11 years of education in their home country and wish to enroll in a Japanese institution of higher education (university, junior college, or specialized course at a vocational school).

※Enrollment in Japanese higher education institutions requires completion of 12 years of schooling. This program is intended for individuals who have not completed the standard 12-year course of study.

Regarding Tuition Payments and Refunds

  1. Details regarding tuition payment will be provided individually by overseas offices after the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) is issued.
  2. Tuition fees paid will not be refunded under normal circumstances. However, for applicants who withdraw their admission due to unavoidable circumstances, such as canceling their trip to Japan before arrival, tuition fees (excluding the examination fee and admission fee), facility maintenance fees, and textbook fees will be refunded.
  3. Children of our school's graduates and current students (parents and children, siblings, nephews and nieces, cousins) are exempt from the entire entrance fee (¥100,000). ※
  4. Students who possess the required Japanese language qualification at the time of enrollment will have their admission fee waived in full or in half as an Academic Advancement Incentive Scholarship. For details, please refer to the scholarship section. ※

    ※ The maximum reduction in the admission fee is 100,000 yen.

  5. Participation in extracurricular club activities or off-campus events is optional, and additional fees may apply.

Selection Method

  1. Through documents and interviews, we will assess your Japanese language proficiency, financial capability, ability to adapt to our school's learning environment, and the clarity of your motivation for studying abroad.
  2. If you are unable to submit a certificate of passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), which objectively certifies Japanese language ability, we will assess your Japanese proficiency through an online Japanese test and interview designated by our school.

Short-term course

Short-Term Auditing Program/Application Guidelines & Tuition
Students will be enrolled in regular long-term student classes to attend lectures. Therefore, recruitment may not occur depending on the status of class capacity. Interested parties are advised to inquire as soon as possible.

※Tuition fees must be paid in full at the start of the course; installment payments are not permitted. Furthermore, no refunds will be issued if you withdraw from the course midway.

※Students who enroll in the regular program in April after completing a three-month short-term audit program starting in January will have half of the admission fee (¥50,000) waived.
