Dormitory environment
Our school offers several partner dormitories where students can live. Since these dormitories are managed by leading Japanese companies, they are well-maintained and provide a safe and secure living environment. All of these dormitories are located in the suburbs of Tokyo, situated in pleasant residential neighborhoods. Furthermore, most dormitories have full-time staff on-site, ensuring thorough attention to security, hygiene, and well-balanced meals. If you are anxious about living in Japan or would prefer to have meals provided for you, living in a dormitory would be a good choice.

The dormitory is home not only to international students from various countries but also to Japanese students, providing ample opportunities for daily conversation in Japanese and exposure to Japanese lifestyle. Each student dormitory is equipped with kitchen facilities such as refrigerators and stoves, which students may use freely. Several dormitories feature dedicated chefs who provide nutritious, balanced meals. Their elaborate menus, prepared with fresh ingredients, have earned high praise.

All rooms are private, ensuring privacy, and come equipped with basic amenities including a bed, desk, electricity, and storage. Most dormitories provide internet access, helping you save on communication costs back home.
Access to the Dormitory
Students at our school can purchase commuter passes, allowing them to significantly reduce transportation costs between the dormitory and campus.

About Apartments (Rental)
There are numerous private apartments in Tokyo. When searching for a private apartment, it is common to consult with our school's overseas office, or to search via the internet, information magazines, or real estate agencies located in the area where you wish to live.When renting an apartment, you sign a lease agreement. In Japan, it is customary to pay a security deposit, key money, brokerage fees, etc., upon signing the contract, and rent is typically paid in advance. At the time of signing, you may pay several months' worth of rent as the security deposit and key money, though properties without these fees are becoming more common.
Rent tends to be higher within Tokyo's 23 wards, generally decreasing the further you move from the city center. When choosing an apartment, consider the total cost of rent plus transportation expenses.As our school is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government-approved various school, all students (except those in short-term auditing or trial programs) can purchase discounted commuter passes. This allows for significant savings on transportation costs between home and school compared to students at other Japanese language schools. Therefore, while commuting time may be longer, choosing a cheaper apartment can be an option to reduce overall expenses. Please note that apartments do not include meals, so students will need to cook for themselves.

- Studio apartment / Nerima Ward: Approx. ¥64,000~
- Studio apartment / Shinjuku Ward: Approx. ¥96,000~
Rent for studio apartments outside the 23 wards of Tokyo (in the Tokyo suburbs) and in the greater Tokyo area is significantly lower than within the 23 wards.

- Tachikawa City, Kokubunji City, Chofu City: ¥60,000 to ¥80,000
- Machida City: ¥30,000 to ¥80,000 (higher near stations)
- Hachioji City, Hino City, Higashimurayama City: ¥40,000 to ¥70,000
- Ome City / Hamura City: ¥40,000–¥60,000 (Rich in nature and among the most affordable)
