From the Director of Academic Affairs

In July, 32 new students (including short-term students) enrolled, and starting on Tuesday, July 8, we added two new classes. While regular classes were suspended for one week to accommodate the new students, the first Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) was held on Sunday, July 6, and many students took the exam at various levels. Results are expected to be released in early September. Additionally, the results of the first Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) were announced on Wednesday, July 23. Based on these results, students will reassess their target universities and apply for the second EJU.
Summer vacation is just around the corner. Since this is a period when you can study at your own pace, I hope you will study systematically while taking care of your health.

From the Career Guidance Office

With the end of summer vacation, the college entrance exam season is finally upon us. Building on the “In-School Career Guidance Session” we reported on previously, we are encouraging students to attend open campus events to help them decide on their target schools. We are also explaining the need to prepare “certificates of graduation” and “transcripts” from their final schools of study in their home countries—documents required for study abroad—as well as the financial preparations necessary for the entrance exams and subsequent enrollment at their chosen institutions. We ask for your cooperation should your children seek your advice on these matters in the future.

Announcements from the Secretariat

Summer vacation is a time when many water-related accidents occur at the beach, rivers, and other bodies of water. Please follow the rules and enjoy yourself, making sure not to swim or play outside designated swimming areas.
