From the Director of Academic Affairs

The mornings and evenings have grown noticeably colder, and our brief autumn is coming to an end. We hope the new students are gradually getting used to life in Japan.
The students who enrolled this year in July and October went on a field trip to Tokyo International University in Kawagoe on Friday, October 24. After a guided tour of the campus, they participated in a pottery painting workshop and, for those who wished, explored the town of Kawagoe—providing a valuable opportunity to experience Japanese culture.
On Saturday, November 1, the university held its cultural festival. Some of our students participated in a speech contest, and opportunities for interaction with university students were also provided.
On Thursday, October 16, a job-hunting information session was held at the Japanese language school. Participating students listened intently and confirmed their next steps. For graduates, busy days continue as they make decisions regarding their future paths, including job hunting and entrance exams.

From the Career Guidance Office

The college admissions season is now in full swing, and applicants to Tokyo International University have completed their applications and are now simply waiting for the exams. Similarly, applications and entrance exams have begun at many other universities and vocational schools. To ensure our students can take these exams with confidence, we are making every effort to provide thorough preparation, including mock exams with detailed explanations and repeated interview practice.
On rare occasions, there may be missing or incomplete documents from students’ home countries. In urgent situations, we may need to ask for your cooperation. We appreciate your understanding and support in such cases.

Announcements from the Secretariat

・In the notification of the 2025 Student Status Management Selection Results (issued by the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau on October 10), our school was again designated as a “Compliant School (Class 1).” This is a testament to the fact that our students are adhering to the rules and leading responsible lives as international students. We ask for your continued guidance and support as parents.

・To mark the start of the new semester, we held demonstrations by the Tea Ceremony Club on Thursday, October 23, and the Calligraphy Club on Monday, October 27. Activities for each club are scheduled to begin in November after the official application period closes. Additionally, the Flower Arrangement Club plans to hold a demonstration after school on Wednesday, November 5, and the Kimono Dressing Club is currently coordinating schedules for demonstrations and activities this semester.
