From the Director of Academic Affairs
The second EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) was held on Sunday, November 9. We’ve heard that the reading comprehension section was difficult, but we hope you were able to score as well as you did in the practice exams. The second JLPT will be held on Sunday, December 7, and with university entrance exams and job interviews also coming up, effective time management is essential. Additionally, regular exams will be held at the school in December. First up is the conversation exam; for the new students who started in October, this will be their first conversation exam, so they are likely to be very nervous. The written exam will be held on Friday, December 19. I hope everyone achieves excellent results and enjoys a wonderful winter break.
From the Career Guidance Office
Starting with the five students who demonstrated their abilities in the Tokyo International University Affiliated Japanese Language School’s recommendation-based entrance exam, the season has arrived once again when we hear congratulations being offered all around.Seeing the beaming smiles of students whose hard work has finally paid off is the most rewarding sight for those of us who understand the daily struggles they’ve faced. Of course, it’s also true that there are students still preparing for exams and others who, unfortunately, haven’t achieved results that reflect their true abilities. Just as before, the number of students practicing for interviews or coming to consult us about their applications has not decreased in the slightest. We will continue to provide even more attentive support than ever before until every student achieves a result they can be satisfied with.
Announcements from the Secretariat
We will be closed for winter break from December 24 to January 5. Since this is a fairly long break, please take care of your health during this time.
