・New Year Haiku Contest

From the Director of Academic Affairs

At the 2nd Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) held on Sunday, December 7, supervision was tightened; students were prohibited from touching their cell phones even during breaks, and anyone who touched their phone—even slightly—was disqualified from the exam. As this rule is expected to remain in place, we will continue to emphasize it at school. JLPT results will be released in late January.
Additionally, the results of the 2nd Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) were announced on Monday, December 15.We will provide further exam preparation support for students who are planning to take the exam in the future.
Immediately after the New Year, we will hold a haiku-writing class in all grades. This is an annual New Year’s tradition, and haiku evoking various scenes, selected from each class, will be displayed in the lobby.

From the Career Guidance Office

This year, we have once again produced numerous successful applicants to universities such as Tokyo International University, Waseda University, Sophia University, and Meiji University, as well as vocational schools including Tsuji Culinary Institute, Tokyo Confectionery College, and Bunka Fashion College. With the results of the second EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) announced in mid-last month, the application process for national and public universities has begun in earnest, and this year’s admissions season is now entering its final stages.Taking into account each student’s aspirations and aptitudes, our guidance will continue until every single student achieves a result they are satisfied with.
Additionally, the schedule for the 2027 academic year’s Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) has been announced. Starting this month, we will begin preparing students scheduled to graduate in March 2027 for the exam.
