Friday, February 27: Speech Contest

From the Director of Academic Affairs

Haiku selected from the school-wide haiku contest are on display in the lobby, creating a festive New Year atmosphere. We look forward to your continued support in 2026.
January and February are busy months for graduating students, who are working on their final graduation essays and selecting class representatives for the speech contest at the end of February. While many have already decided on their post-graduation plans, we hope they will enjoy making memories with their classmates and make the most of their remaining classes.
During homeroom periods, we are guiding current students to reaffirm their long-term goals and create study plans to achieve them. Students planning to go on to higher education, in particular, have a lot to research and consider beyond their studies, such as researching prospective schools, planning for tuition costs, and scheduling EJU or JLPT exams. Please discuss these matters with your children at home as well.

From the Career Guidance Office

With the results of Tokyo International University’s second-round entrance exams and the national and public university exams—which mark the conclusion of this year’s admissions cycle—beginning to come in, the exam season has entered its final stretch. Even so, there are still students who are persevering and giving it their all.Based on my limited experience, whether for university or vocational school entrance exams, the “mental fortitude to never give up until the very end” invariably leads to good results. We will continue to encourage, support, and guide you until the very end.
Additionally, registration for the first EJU exam for the 2027 academic year has already begun. At our school, preparatory classes and career guidance sessions have already started. We are fully prepared to adapt to the increasingly earlier entrance exam schedule.
