From the Director of Academic Affairs
In Japan, March is the season of farewells, and our graduates are also leaving the Japanese language school.
On Friday, February 27, a speech contest featuring our graduates was held at the TIU Ikebukuro Campus. With speeches by representatives from each class and cheers from their classmates, it became a wonderful memory before graduation.
After completing the graduation exams on Monday, March 2, the graduation ceremony on Thursday, March 12 featured awards for students who worked hard during their time at the school and a speech by a graduate representative. We hope they will continue to thrive and be active even after graduation.
On Friday, March 13, current students took their March exams, and a conversation test was held on a separate day. Class placements for April will be determined based on their daily progress and the results of the March exams. I hope they will continue to study diligently and stay organized during spring break.
From the Career Guidance Office
Whether you’re graduating or continuing for another year, this is a time of significant milestones. Japanese language schools do not appear on academic transcripts. However, we take pride in the fact that our school is where each student spends the most crucial period in shaping their future—a school that stands at a crossroads in their lives.
After graduation, our school remains your alma mater in Japan, and Japan becomes your second home after your homeland. If your children ever find themselves in need of assistance in Japan—even after graduation—please tell them, “Go to the Japanese language school for advice.” We keep our doors wide open to our graduates. Furthermore, with renewed pride as both your alma mater and your second home, we will continue to support our current students.
Announcements from the Secretariat
We are planning to hold the entrance ceremony for the new students of the April intake on April 2. Orientation and other events for new students will be held through April 10, and classes for the new academic year will begin on April 13. Although this will be a slightly longer spring break, please encourage your children to maintain their daily routines, take care of their health, and lead a regular lifestyle.
